1. Who we are

This site is operated by Docket Lead Solutions LLC, doing business as Docket Leads ("Docket Leads," "we," "us," or "our"). Docket Leads is a marketplace where licensed insurance producers create a free account and subscribe monthly or purchase one-time batches of exclusive consumer leads through a dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, producer accounts, lead marketplace, and related services.

2. Personal information we collect

We collect two main categories of personal information:

2.1 Producer account data

• Contact information: email address and name.
• Optional profile details: any additional profile information you choose to add.
• Payment information: processed by Whop. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device data, and cookie or similar tracking identifiers.

2.2 Consumer lead data

• Contact information: consumer name and phone number.
• Vertical-specific details: information such as age, coverage purpose, income, mortgage balance, or other details relevant to the insurance vertical the consumer inquired about.
• Verification and compliance metadata: submission timestamp, lead source, and phone verification records used to confirm the inquiry is genuine.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), certain lead information may be treated as sensitive personal information (see Section 3).

3. Sensitive personal information

Some consumer leads may include health information and tobacco-use status, carried over from the originating consumer-facing lead form. Where this information is collected, it is treated as sensitive personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. We limit its use and disclosure to what is necessary to match and deliver the lead to the subscribing producer.

4. Why we collect it

We use personal information for the following purposes:

• For producers: to create and manage your account, process subscription or batch purchases, deliver leads to your dashboard, and communicate with you about your account.
• For consumers: to match you with a licensed insurance producer who can contact you about coverage you expressed interest in, and to maintain records of your consent.
• For everyone: to operate, secure, and improve the marketplace and website.

5. Who we share or sell it to

We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:

• The subscribing producer each consumer lead is sold to. Leads are sold exclusively to one subscribing producer per lead so they can contact the consumer about coverage.
• Service providers that help us operate the marketplace, including our payment processor (Whop) and authentication provider (Google).

Because we transfer consumer lead information (which may include sensitive personal information) to a subscribing producer in exchange for payment, this is a "sale" or "share" of personal information under the CCPA. You can opt out at any time (see Section 8).

6. Where lead data comes from

Consumer lead data originates from our own in-house marketing campaigns, landing pages, and lead-generation forms. We do not purchase or resell leads from third-party aggregators or list brokers.

7. How long we keep it

We retain lead records, consent records, and related personal information for at least five (5) years to comply with insurance, telemarketing (TCPA), and other legal recordkeeping obligations. We may retain information longer where required by law or to resolve disputes.

8. Cookies and tracking

We and our analytics partners use cookies and similar technologies to understand site usage and measure marketing performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. SMS and text messaging

Docket Leads sends text messages only to producers who hold an account with us and who have provided their mobile number and opted in. Two types of messages are sent: (1) one-time account verification codes, and (2) account notifications letting you know new leads were delivered to your Docket. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not text consumers whose information appears in leads.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely to deliver the messages described above and are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from text messages, or HELP for help. You can also turn text alerts off in your account settings. Opting out of SMS does not affect your account or lead delivery, which continues by email and in your dashboard.

For help with text messages, email support@docketleads.io. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including under the CCPA), you have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we have collected about you.
• Delete personal information we have collected from you.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (such as health and tobacco-use answers) to what is necessary to provide the services you requested.
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

11. Service providers and subprocessors

We rely on third-party service providers to operate the marketplace:

• Payment processing: Whop.
• Authentication: Google.
• Text messaging (SMS) delivery: Twilio, used only to transmit verification codes and account notifications to producers.

These providers process personal information only on our behalf and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
